Dr. Lansford graduated with honors with a degree in chemistry and concentration in biochemistry from Duke University in 1994. He obtained his medical doctor degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 1999. He then went back to Duke to complete an internship in surgery and residency in Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery, serving as chief resident in 2004. He then returned to Ann Arbor for his fellowship training in advanced head and neck surgical oncology and reconstruction from 2004-2005. Dr. Chris Lansford is double board certified in Otolaryngology—Head and Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Lansford performs a wide range of procedures related to the face, sinuses, mouth, throat, neck, and ears.

Dr. Lansford grew up in Champaign, Illinois and is married with two children. His wife says he has too many hobbies, which may be true, as they include beekeeping, leather working, sailing, biking and running, and enjoying live music.
